"THE DISASTERS OF THE WAR"

 Students of 4th of ESO have visited this amazing exposition with the works of the famous photographer Emilio Morenatti. Each student has commented on what one of the images appealed to their senses and the result has been extraordinary.  This are some examples: " I can see a woman crying. I would hear the sobs of the woman and the explosions. I would smell dust and gunpowder due to the city's state. It reminds me of a salty flavour, like tears. I would be touching fabrics because I would hug the woman" (Miriam A) "In this photo I can see a woman who is destroyed about the consequences that the war has brought to her country. I could smell all the pollution there is in the streets. I also smell the dust and gunpowder. I would be touching the stones that are on the floor. E-TWINNING PROJECT "DIFFERENCES BRING US TOGETHER" - LAST ONLINE MEETING WITH STUDENTS

 Yesterday, the group of students and teachers working together in this e-Twinning project, met for the last time this school year to close up the work done together.  After listening to some of the songs we had sung, students commented on what they thought about this time sharing knowledge, culture and work together. Both students and teachers agreed that it has been a wonderful experience and our leader, Aytül Gürdamar, the Turkish teacher, has made it easy for all of us to complete the tasks we had aimed at since the beginning of the school year.

"OLIVE WREATH": THE PROJECT GOES ON

These weeks our students are finding out about olive trees and olive oil: meaning, importance in our countries, traditions related to these elements. Together they are sharing their findings with our colleagues from the Italy and Greece. Using a tool called Padlet, they can write and read what others have shared with them. Here you can see an example of what they are doing.
