eTwinning - FIRST ONLINE MEETING WITH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

This evening we have had the opportunity to meet some of the teachers and students we will be collaborating with in the project "Differences Bring Us Together". After playing a Kahoot! game with questions about the six countries involved, some of students introduced themselves. A great experience for us all!!

FIRST STEPS ON OUR PROJECT "DIFFERENCES BRING US TOGETHER"

Some students have prepared their introductions to post on the e-Twinning space. They've had some fun creating their own avatar. Algunos alumnos/as del proyecto ya han preparado sus presentaciones para publicarlas en la plataforma europea e-Twinning. También se han divertido creando su propio avatar.

DIFFERENCES BRING US TOGETHER

We are starting a new eTwinning project this year with our 4th of ESO students. There are six European countries involved: Turkey (founder), Italy (co-founder), Germany, Poland, Portugal and Spain. It is a known fact that a person belonging to one culture has always been curious about people from other cultures. Especially in our schools, many of our students have a limited life space, and most of them have no opportunity to go out of the places where they live and meet new people and cultures. So,  in our  project  "Differences bring us together",  students    will have a chance to  acquire new knowledge of the world and the people of another country (their culture, traditions, lifestyles, opinions, etc..)  and to  get to know new people and make new friendships. While getting involved in many types of activity, the students also will have an opportunity to  improve their English language skills  through  cooperation of teachers and students of different nationalities.
