E-TWINNING PROJECT "DIFFERENCES BRING US TOGETHER" - LAST ONLINE MEETING WITH STUDENTS

Yesterday, the group of students and teachers working together in this e-Twinning project, met for the last time this school year to close up the work done together.  After listening to some of the songs we had sung, students commented on what they thought about this time sharing knowledge, culture and work together. Both students and teachers agreed that it has been a wonderful experience and our leader, Aytül Gürdamar, the Turkish teacher, has made it easy for all of us to complete the tasks we had aimed at since the beginning of the school year.

"OLIVE WREATH": THE PROJECT GOES ON

These weeks our students are finding out about olive trees and olive oil: meaning, importance in our countries, traditions related to these elements. Together they are sharing their findings with our colleagues from the Italy and Greece. Using a tool called Padlet, they can write and read what others have shared with them. Here you can see an example of what they are doing.

"OLIVE WREATH", OUR SECOND ETWINNING PROJECT, IS TAKING OFF

This time, our third year students of ESO have joined the adventure together with schools from Italy and Greece. In this first stage, they are getting to know each other by introducing themselves and their avatar to the rest using the app PADLET.

eTwinning: fourth online meeting

Once again, we've met online with our partners in the project "Differences Bring Us Together". This time we have played a Kahoot game about the videos we elaborated of our cities.

eTwinning - POSTER, LOGO AND SLOGAN FOR OUR EUROPEAN PROJECT "DIFFERENCES BRING US TOGETHER"

These past weeks we have been designing the poster, logo and slogan that will represent our school in the project. Next week, we'll vote for the winning ones. Good luck, team! Estas últimas semanas hemos estado trabajando digitalmente para elaborar un póster, un logo y un slogan que represente a nuestro instituto en el proyecto. La próxima semana se hará la votación para elegir el póster, logo y slogan que nos representará a todos. ¡Suerte equipo!                                                         The poster was designed by María, a student from 4 ESO A. The logo was designed by Paula (4 ESO A). It contains the flags of the five countries involved in the project: Turkey, Italy, Germany, Poland, Portugal and Spain.    There were several slogans, but our students voted for this one, which was created by Martina (4 ESO A)

eTwinning - FIRST ONLINE MEETING WITH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

This evening we have had the opportunity to meet some of the teachers and students we will be collaborating with in the project "Differences Bring Us Together". DIFFERENCES BRING US TOGETHER

We are starting a new eTwinning project this year with our 4th of ESO students. There are six European countries involved: Turkey (founder), Italy (co-founder), Germany, Poland, Portugal and Spain.
