SCHOOL PEACE DAY

  SCHOOL PEACE DAY is a time to reflect on the importance of kindness and respect for each other. To mark this occasion, some students have created a mural titles "Our Path to Peace", featuring messages written on their footprints to show that every step counts toward building a better world.

  1st year of ESO students have prepared this wonderful "Tree of wishes" for the new coming year.

TALK ABOUT THE CONFLICT IN GAZA

  A refugee from Palestina has come to our school today to talk, from a non-violent perspective, about the conflict currently affecting Gaza.  Students of Bachillerato have been able to ask about the problem, debate about possible solutions and have understood the importance of a peaceful resolution of conflicts. All this using the English language as means of communication and understanding. 

ERASMUS+ STUDENTS FROM NORWAY VISIT JEREZ

 This afternoon, 1st bachillerato students have organised a guided tour of the city. Starting in Alameda Cristina, the tour went along the city walls, reaching Santiago, Plaza de Belén, the Cathedral, to end up in the town centre - Plaza del Arenal, market, Town Hall and Calle Larga. Together with this, they have accompanied the explanations of our history with some typical "zambomba" singing.  

HAIKUS AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE

  Today, 25th of November, students are reminded about the importance of respect, tolerance and the culture of non violence in all aspects of our life.  With their Haikus in Spanish and English, these values are shown in an artistic way, which makes them protagonists of the fight against all kinds of violence.    

ARRIVAL FROM NORWAY

  Yesterday, some students and teachers from Norway have arrived to our town. They are going to spend a week with us, learning from our town, our school and our culture. Today, we have welcomed them in the school, where students from both Norway and Spain have had the chance to meet each other. 

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FLAMENCO

This day honors the passion, art and cultural heritage of flamenco. Living in Jerez de la Frontera, we cannot forget about this powerful expression of music, dance and identity which forms part of our inner culture. With this poster, elaborated by all the students and teachers who wanted to colaborate, we give visibility to the importance of preserving our roots.
