This week, our school has had the pleasure of welcoming four guests fron the Italian Secondary School G.B. Vico in Laterza (Italy) as part of the Erasmus+ Job Shadowing programme. The visit team included two enthusiastic teachers of English as a Second Language, an experienced financial administrator and the principal of the Italian school. The purpose of their visit was to explore and understand our educational system through observation, collaboration and dialogue with our staff and students. They have immersed themselves in daily schoo life, taking part in classes, exchanging ideas with our teachers and reflecting on how different educational approaches can benefit students across Europe.  Beyornd the classroom, the exchange has given us all a vluable opportunity to discuss key topics such as  curiculum design, school managemente, bilingual education and the challenges of modern education in a globalised world.   Today, Mario, our language assistant has been reading about Paul McCartney, the famours English singer, songwriter and musician who gained global fame with the band the Beatles. After reading about his awesome life, students have shared their views with Mario, who has been asking them about the reading. 4th of ESO students listening and reading in the lesson with the language assistant  

    On May 9th, our school joined millions acroos the continent to celebrate Europe Day, a day that marks the values of unity, peace and cooperation among European countries. To commemorate the occasion, our 1st-year-students participated in a creative project where they learnt about the different countries and how important it is to be united.

 Students of the second year of ESO have been working with our language assistant in the technology lesson. This week the topic has been electricity and all the vocabulary related to this topic. Training with Kahoot! is always fun.   First, a power point exposition, with Mario introducing the topic in English.   Then, a Kahoot! to make sure everyone understood the contents.   And here we have the winners of the competition     Finally pair-work practise to improve language skills
