Erasmus+ Exploring Nature and Wildlife

Wednesday and Thursday have been dedicated to cultural learning. As part of the Erasmus+ cultural programme in Kristiansand, our group enjoyed two fascinating visits that brought them closer to Norway's natural environment: the Kristiansand zoo and the local botanic gardens. At the Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park, students discovered a wide variety of Nordic animals, such as lynxes, wolves and moose, as well as species from other parts of the world. Thursday was dedicated to the botanic gardens at the Agder Natural History Museum. These two visits added a deeper appreciation for the ntural beaurty of NOrway and reminded us how important it is to preserve it.  On Thursday, the group also discovered the ancient roots of the Norwegian population by visiting a viking setting, a reconstruced Viking village, complete with traditional longhouses, wooden boats and everyday tools fromover a thousand years ago.
